报告题目：Integrationa and Automation of Nondestructive Evaluation in Condisiton Assessemnt of Concrete Bridge Deck
Dr. Nenad Gucunski is professor and chair of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rutgers University（罗格斯大学）. He is director of the Center for Advanced Infrastructure and Transportation's (CAIT's) Infrastructure Condition Monitoring Program (ICMP). Dr. Gucunski is an internationally recognized expert in nondestructive evaluation (NDE/NDT) technologies and an elected member of NDT Academia International. In addition to his extensive work in various seismic, ultrasonic, and electromagnetic NDE techniques, he has conducted research in the areas of geotechnical earthquake engineering and dynamic soil-structure interaction. Dr. Gucunski has served as a technical consultant to many agencies including NJDOT, the New York City Department of Transportation, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, U.S. Army Marine Corps, and others. Dr. Gucunski published more than 200 publications, mostly on various aspects of development and application of NDE technologies. He is actively involved in a number of ASCE and ASNT technical committees, is a reviewer of several highly regarded technical journals. Dr. Gucunski received a number of awards and recognitions. Among others, He and his team are recipients of 2014 ASCE Charles Pankow Award for Innovation for the development of RABIT (Robotics Assisted Bridge Inspection Tool) for bridge decks.
